  • Morzine, Avoriaz and Montriond

Montriond is situated on the outskirts of Morzine at the heart of the Portes du Soleil. It is a small, peaceful, traditional Savoie village with a very friendly atmosphere. Montriond has a tourist information centre, hotel open to non-residents, restaurant/pizzeria, boulangerie/grocery/newsagents, creperie and ski shop.

    1 1

The free ski buses to Ardent and Morzine stop at various places in the village during the winter season. Only a 10 minute walk away from Montriond is the lively resort of Morzine and Les Gets is a 6 kms drive. Situated halfway between Lake Geneva and Mont Blanc, Morzine is a mountain village with some 3000 inhabitants.
It became a ski resort in the thirties and even though the tourist facilities have been modernised it has lost none of its traditional architectural charm.
It is essentially a lively, family resort with several major events throughout the winter and summer and many attractions for adults and children.
